***Back in January of 2015, we designated the third Sunday of each month as our “Building Fund Offering” Sunday.   On these days, there will be the opportunity for people to give an offering, over and above our regular tithes/offerings, for our re-modeling program.  We are grateful to all who have faithfully and regularly given to our building fund these past years.  We continue to have our building fund offerings, collecting money so we can continue to get more of our aging building remodeled and we hope you can, and will, continue giving to our building fund.
***Accordingly, our next Building Fund offering will be Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019.
***Like us on Facebook at:  Send/link this this to your friends and family.
***Nov. 24, right after morning services, we will have our annual church Thanksgiving potluck dinner.  A sign up sheet is in the sanctuary for people to volunteer to help set up and take down for this time of fellowship.  Please plan on staying after church and taking part in this time of fellowship.
***Because of our annual church Thanksgiving potluck dinner, there will be no evening service that Sunday evening, Nov. 24 and, because it will Thanksgiving eve, there will be no Midweek service on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
***Sunday, Dec. 8, will be our annual Christmas caroling to a McKinney nursing home.  This year it will be to Park Manor, 1801 Pearson (just a few blocks west of the church building).  Meet at the church at 4:30pm, if you want to participate (it is fun!), or meet at Park Manor at 5pm (remember, it is fun!).  Afterwards, we will return to the church and have our annual Christmas gettogether.  And, there will be no Sunday evening service that day.
***In our Midweek evening service, we are a study in “Experiencing God”.   Come and join us at 7pm.
***In our Sunday evening service, we are in a study of the Gospels and we are beginning with the book of Matthew.   Come and join us and share in our studies at 6pm.
***In our elective Sunday School class, at 10am, Mary Ellen Schiavone has taken on the role of teacher for the class, replacing Lela Rosnett, who taught the class until she passed away the end of August, and is teaching on selected Old Testament books, currently in the book of Psalms/Proverbs.
***Check out the various bulletin boards in our Fellowship Hall that we once had scattered in different spots in the church building.  Some of the bulletin boards were hard to get to and read.  So now, we have a bulletin board up in the fellowship hall for our mission news and general news that the church family might find interesting and one for our building news (the building plans are on that board now).
